Two young men of Mehalmudi VDC-2 in Kalikot were killed on Saturday evening when a sun based battery blasted.
Sanesha Nath, 14, child of Padam Nath Yogi and 15-year-old Man Nath, child of Hari Nath Yogi, kicked the bucket on the spot, nearby occupant Nirmala Shahi said.
She said that the battery blasted out of the blue when the young men were attempting to energize the battery to revive their phones.
